Jeremy has spent his entire life around the funeral industry. The son of Butch and Jan Heath, he developed a passion for serving people at a young age. A Paragould native, Jeremy attended Arkansas State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management: Leadership.

After completing his degree, Jeremy spent over a decade in law enforcement. A majority of that time was spent as a State Trooper with the Arkansas State Police. During this time, he returned to school to receive his MBA in Human Resources. He spent several years patrolling the highways before moving into the Executive Protection Division, where he provided protective security to Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe and his family. 

To spend more time at home, Jeremy began a career in the financial industry. He spent a couple of years as a Financial Advisor for Edward Jones. It was during this time that Jeremy realized his passion for funeral service was still strong. He made the transition back to the funeral home where he was in charge of operations. In 2022, Jeremy and Tara were blessed to purchase the funeral home from Butch, Jan, and Lynda becoming third generation owners of Heath Funeral Home.

Since returning to the funeral home, Jeremy has participated in Leadership Paragould through the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce. He has also served on the Board of Directors for House of Virtue, Inc., CASA of the 2nd Judicial District, the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce, and the Greene County Community Fund. He has an Arkansas Funeral Director's License, an Arkansas Health/Life Insurance License, and is a member of the National Funeral Directors Association.

Jeremy has been married to his wife, Tara, since 2004. They have two sons, Jax and Auggie, and two fur children, Mattie and Macy. During his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, watching Cardinal baseball, and howling his Red Wolves to victory. He currently volunteers for and serves as Chief of the Greene County Rescue Squad. Jeremy and his family attend church at Central Baptist Church Paragould Campus where he, Jax, and Auggie were all baptized.

Funeral Director

Having been raised in southeast Missouri, Paige became a resident of Northeast Arkansas in 2018 making Paragould her home in 2020. Since moving to Paragould, she has become an active member of the community by joining Paragould Emerging Professionals and the Paragould Regional Chamber of Commerce. Paige also serves on the Board of Directors for Main Street Paragould and the Chamber Banquet Board. Paige has formed many deep roots within the community and has a great desire to serve those in need.

Paige is a professionally licensed funeral director and embalmer. She graduated from Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, where she obtained her Associates of Applied Science in Funeral Science.  She is also a Certified Cremation Services Provider (CCSP) and has an appointed Prepaid Funeral Insurance License. 

Paige leads families through some of the most challenging times with great empathy, compassion, and care. She is dedicated to the families she serves and looks forward to her future with Heath Funeral Home.

Paige and her husband, Jonathan, married in 2021 and have become the proud parents of two goldendoodles, Harry and Lucy, and one cat, Pete. When she’s not working, Paige enjoys spending time on her back porch, playing with her dogs, and reading. 

Jen was born in Paragould, raised in Cardwell, and graduated from Southland High School in 1992. She has lived in the Paragould area her entire life. She joined the Heath Funeral Home family in January of 2023. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her previous job as the manager at Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. 

As office manager, Jen’s main goal is to make everyone who walks through the doors of Heath Funeral Home feel like family. She also works hand-in-hand with funeral directors and her colleagues to ensure the details of each service are completed seamlessly, resulting in a unique tribute specific to that individual. Jen loves her community and strives to help the families she serves any way that she can.

Jen and the love of her life, Steven Evans, share their five children, Steven Jr., Holly, Andrea, Jake, & Samantha. She is the proud “JJ” of three grandkids, Colton, Liam, & Lily; one dog, Bella; and two cats, Whitey & Bobbie. Aside from spending time with her family, Jen loves listening to all genres of music but most especially 80’s music. She also enjoys attending concerts and watching the St. Louis Cardinals and the Arkansas Razorbacks. Jen looks forward to her future with Heath Funeral Home and is ready to assist families in their time of need. 

Amber has been serving the people of our community for over 20 years. Prior to joining the Heath Funeral Home family, she spent many years caring for individuals and families as both an EMT and 911-dispatcher with AMMC Ambulance Service. She also cared for others through home health and nursing home care. Amber is an active member of Grace United Church of Paragould, helping with many events and serving on the hospitality team.

With her husband, Brian, Amber has three children, Lydia, Lyrick, and Taylor. Family is an important aspect of Amber’s life. Even if you are not family in the typical sense, she is sure to make you feel like you are. Although she is not an official grandma yet, she is “Nanner” to many. In addition to family and friends, Amber has a soft spot for animals. She has four dogs and has taken in many fosters over the years.

At Heath Funeral Home, Amber assists families with all that she can, specializing in insurance claims. She goes above and beyond for families we serve, making such a difficult time much easier. Amber is here to provide "A Sincere Personal Service".
