Zethel Haller

Mrs. Zethel Haller, 92, a longtime resident of Lafe, Arkansas, passed from this life on November 22 at ECM Hospital in Florence, Alabama. She was born to the late Albert Thomas and Annie (Textor) Thomas on October 19, 1918. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Killen, Alabama. She is survived by one son, Weldon Haller (Kay) Knobel, AR: three daughters, Shirley Harmon (Ron) of Killen, AL; Linda Baughman (Charles) of Heber Springs, AR; Joetta Pippin of West Plains, MO. Two sisters, Wanda Hatley (James) of Windermere, FL; Velma Smittle of Troy, IL. Two brothers Earl Thomas (Lucille) of Hot Springs, AR and Ray Thomas of Poplar Bluff, MO. Ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Eighteen nephews and nieces, many other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Haller . Three brothers, Glen, Everett and Roy Thomas and one sister, Jewell Blonde. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at Heath Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2010, with L. R. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Frankie Haller, Eric Harmon, Brandon Harmon, Travis Harmon, Jason Baughman, and Aaron Lowe. The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis or North Alabama Christian Children’s Home, P.O. Box 2652, Florence, AL 35634.
