Zachery "Zac" Ryan Brooks

Zachery Ryan "Zac" Brooks, 21 , of Bono passed away Sunday March 31, 2019 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis. He was born in Jonesboro and was a 2017 graduate of Success Academy at Jonesboro. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, John and Alma Hill and paternal grandparents, Bill and Sally Brooks and an uncle Johnny Mac Hill..

Zac is survived by his parents, Willie and Ruthie Brooks of Bono; older brother, William ("Will" and wife Shayna Brooks) of Bono; sister, Samantha Brooks of Bono; and one nephew Wyatt Brooks.

Zac was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being with friends. He enjoyed his job at Delta Glass in Jonesboro. Zac was known for his uncanny ability to make people laugh, a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious smile.

Visitation will be Friday from 12:00 - 2:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2 in the chapel with Rev. Danny Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Ridge Cemetery in Delaplaine. Pallbearers will be Alex Burns, Grant Burns, Kelton Schaffer, Weston Curtner, Dylan Miller and Dexter Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
