Yuba Williams, 87 of Truman, formerly of Paragould, died Wednesday at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City, AR. Yuba was a teacher for 29 years in the Paragould School District, Weiner and Truman School Districts and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Paragould. Yuba was active in the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, Greene County Retired Teachers Association, the Glenna Rose Circle, a member of the AMMC Hospital Auxiliary and the Homemaker's Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Taylor; parents, Jesse Blanton and Mattie Frances Robinson Williams; brothers, Vernon, Ezra and Billy Williams; sisters, Belle Medsker, Ethelene Ryan, Lola Greenway, Mexine McDaniel. Survivors include daughters, Linda Gay Taylor of Truman, AR and Brenda Kay Bonds of Jonesboro; son Robert Michael Taylor of Benton, AR. Grandchildren Leigh Anne Ross, Holly Renee Rainwater, Jennifer Lynn Groves, J. Neal Turner, Jr. Jesse Colt Bonds and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 - 11:00 A.M. at 1st United Methodist Church. Funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the church with Revs. Bill Leslie and Angie Gage officiating.
