Winford Hackworth

Winford Harold “Wink” Hackworth, 71 of Paragould died Sunday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Wink was a retired group leader at Emerson Electric and a member of the Fairview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and May Stromes Hackworth; step-daughter, Renee Smith; sisters, Dorothy Souheaver, Cleo Brockaw, Sharon Burns; brothers, Elmo, Darrell and Doyle Hackworth. Survivors include his wife, Betty Hackworth of the home; step-son, Marty (Melissa) Wynn of Walcott; sisters, Barbara Smith of Poplar Bluff, MO, Gertie Cox of Paragould, Louise Mandrelli of Las Vegas, NV and Elry Johnston of Paragould; brothers, Amos Hackworth of Paragould and Paul Hackworth of Downy, CA; grandchildren, Kristen (Jason) Summers, Brittany (J.R.) Lawrence, Kelsea (Brent) Hodge all of Paragould, Katie (Jon) Harter of Walnut Ridge, AR and Zachery Wynn of Walcott, AR; great grandchildren, Isaac, Zeke and Chyna Summers and Josslin Hodge. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 9:00-10:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:30 A.M. at Pine Log Cemetery with Revs. Royce Boling and Shane Stovall officiating.
