Wilma Jean Davis, 86 of Paragould, died Saturday at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. Jean worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 36 years with 29 years perfect attendance. She graduated in 1950 from Paragould High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Patrick Henry Carroll, Sr and Mary Loretta Layton Carroll; brothers, Richard Carroll., Everett Carroll and Pat Carroll, Jr.; sisters, Alice L. McCullar and Millie Covill.
Survivors include sons, Terry Wayne Davis of Jonesboro, Randy Joe Davis of Paragould, Kenny Dale Davis of Kingston, Washington and Scott K. Davis of Paragould. 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Davis, Randy Davis, Scott Davis, John Davis, Tracy Whitaker and Bryan Buck, honorary pallbearers will be Chris Parker and Brandon Guthrie.
Rosary will be Tuesday from 6:00-6:30 at Heath Funeral Home. Visitation will follow from 6:30-8:00. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Stephen Mallanga officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School or Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.
