Wilma Ailene Jeter, 96, of Paragould, went to Heaven on Monday. She was a seamstress at Belk and was a member of West View Baptist Church. In her spare time, Wilma enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, and reading. She was the daughter of the late Grover Miles Smith and Allie Rutherford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Algie Jeter, son, James Jeter, and brothers C.D. and Robert Smith.
Survivors include daughters, Judy (Don) Hyde of Paragould, and Jan (Jerry) Hathcoat of Jonesboro; granchildren, Julia (Larry) Davis of Paragould, Mike (Christine) Hyde of Nebraska, Jim (Karen) Hyde of Memphis, and Lisa Hathcoat of Jonesboro; great grandchildren, Keith (Deanna) Davis of Louisiana, Josh (Deidre) Davis, Sarah (Jon) Walker, and Jamie (Meggan) Davis all of Paragould, Austin Ye, Eric Hyde of Nebraska, Ashley Hyde and Michael Hyde of Tennessee, Colin Davis, Allie (Logan) Clark, and Libby (Spencer) Hinkle all of Paragould; great-great grandchildren, Jack and Juli Walker, Ezra and Ellie Davis, Levi and Camden Davis, and Benjamin Clark.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Greene County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ronnie Winn officiating. Memorials can be sent to West View Baptist Church or a charity of the giver's choice.
