He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Donald Wood, Ellen Stewart, and Ginni Yeargain; and his in-laws, Frank and Lorene Straub.

Dub was a 1961 graduate of Dixie High School. He retired from Foremost/Turner/Prairie Farms after over 50+ years of dedicated service. His greatest joys were spending time with his family, laughing, and playing jokes on his friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be his beloved grandchildren.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Evan Coffell, Chuck Davis, Bedford Little, Tom Wofford and his Dairy family.
Friends will gather at St. Mary's Cemetery for a graveside funeral at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
In keeping with Dub's lifelong dedication to children's welfare, the family suggests memorial gifts to children's hospitals, local FFA organizations, and the 4-H Foundation, as a meaningful way to honor his memory.
