William Lilbourn “Gus†Miller, 88, of Paragould, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013. He was born on December 10, 1924, in Greene County. Mr. Miller was the retired owner of Miller’s Shoe Shop in Paragould and a member of East Side Baptist Church. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War and will be buried with full military honors. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Willie Miller; brother, Milton Miller; sisters Juanita Owens, Louise Hart and Fairy Nelms. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Velma Lloyd Miller; sister, Reba Hampton of Warrensburg, Missouri; four children and spouses; Pam (Bob) Dickey of Germantown, Tennessee; Bill (Debra) Miller of Paragould; Tim (Bonnie) Miller of Eutaw, Alabama; Mark (Melissa) Miller of Paragould. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, June 24 from 10:30-12:30 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:30 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Mike Gaskill and family presiding. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Derek, Matthew and Michael Miller, Micah and Aaron Dickey and David Howe.
