William Blasko

William "Bill" Raley Blasko, a cherished father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on December 26, 1953, in Connecticut, Bill lived in North Carolina for many years and later followed his parents to Paragould, Arkansas.

Bill dedicated his career to the auto industry, where he made a notable impact as a car salesman at Bayird. His work ethic, integrity, and passion for his profession earned him the respect and admiration of both colleagues and customers alike.

Bill was a man of many passions. He approached life with joy and enthusiasm, particularly evident in his love for golf. He found solace on the golf course, often spending weekends perfecting his swing and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts. His unwavering support for the Detroit Lions and North Carolina Tarheels displayed his true spirit as a devoted sports fan, always cheering for his teams with fervor and pride.

In his quieter moments, Bill found joy between the pages of books, particularly the adventurous tales penned by Clive Cussler. These stories fueled his imagination and provided a welcome escape, illustrating his appreciation for storytelling and adventure.

Bill is survived by his sons, William (Val) Blasko of California and Blaine Blasko of Arkansas; daughters Courtney (Kevin) Turner of North Carolina, and Jade Blasko of Arkansas; and cherished grandchildren Kylin and Harper Turner. He is also survived by his sisters Teresa Morgan, Lisa Hunt, Sarah McClure, and Mary Brooks, as well as his brother Kevin McClure, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Bill's family will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents William Blasko, and Catherine and William McClure; sister Laura Ann Miller; and brother John McClure.

The community is invited to pay their respects at Heath Funeral Home on Friday, January 31, where a Rosary will be held at 5:30 PM, with a Visitation to follow from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A Mass honoring Bill's life will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Saturday, February 1, at 10:00 AM.

William Raley Blasko's legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the memories we hold dear.
