William "Bill" Sikes

William (Bill) Sikes, 82, of Paragould passed from this life on Wednesday at Greene Acres Nursing Home. Bill was born on October 12, 1934, in Paragould to Paul and Hettie Sikes. He was retired from the U. S. Air Force after 21 years of service. He also retired from Monroe.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Wahlgren) Sikes in 2011.

Survivors include his daughter, Cathy (Eddie) Dowdy; three grandchildren, Jessica Dunn, Trent (Mariah) Dowdy, and Sarah (Tyler) Bayird, all of Paragould; great grandson, Liam Dowdy; brother, Kenneth (Carolyn) Sikes; niece, Kendra (Bryant) Colston.

Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Greene County Memorial Gardens with Rev. Marc Reeves officiating.
Memorials may be made to West View Baptist Church or the charity of the givers choice.
