William "Bill" Fred Carr, Sr.

William "Bill" Carr, Sr., 72, formerly of Paragould, passed away Thursday in Williford. He retired from Emerson Electric after 33 1/2 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Carr and Maxine Holland, brother, Buddy Carr; and sister, June Ann Carr.

Survivors include his step-mother, Johnnie Lou Carr of Paragould; son, William (Teresa) Carr, Jr. of Bono; daughter, Shannon Carr of the home; grandchildren, Katelyn, Meagan, Bethany, Matthew, and Ryan Carr; brothers, Raymond, John, Donnie, Larry, and Dale Carr; and sisters, Linda Elkins and Brenda Jackson.

Visitation is Sunday evening from 5-7 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Monday at 10 AM at Heath Funeral Home. Burial is in Finch Cemetery. Pallbearers are David, Donnie, Larry, Brad, and Brian Carr and John Mackintosh. Honorary pallbearers are Leonard Elkins and John Carr.
