Wayne John Colberg

February 21, 1922 — February 22, 2017

Wayne John Colberg, 95, of Paragould passed away Wednesday at Belle Meade Nursing Center. He was born in McIntosh County, ND and lived in Paragould for the last two years. He retired as State Entomologist for the North Dakota Department of Agriculture and was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Hattie Dement Colberg.

Survivors include his wife Jeanne Eells Colberg of the home; sons, Stephen Colberg of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and Dr. John (Eileen) Colberg of New Haven, CT; daughters, Michele (Keith) Legrid of Paragould and Dr. Patricia (Norbert) Colberg of Moscow, ID; grandchildren, Patrick Colberg, Mark Colberg, David (Amy) Colberg, Declan Colberg, Siena Swoboda-Colberg, Skye Swoboda-Colberg, John (Karen) Legrid and Ann (Clay) Reynolds; great grandsons, George Colberg, Alexander Colberg and Severin Legrid.

Rosary will begin at 5:00 Sunday at the funeral home with visitation to follow from 5:30-7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Stephen Mallanga officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Lasting memorials are asked to consider St. Mary's Catholic Church.
