Wava Helline Lewis, 95 of Paragould, died at her residence on Thursday. Wava was a Sales Clerk at Belk for 20 years and was a Seamstress. She was a member of the Pruett’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
Wava was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Ina Johnson Cothren; husband, Charles Lewis; sons, Ronald Lewis and Brian Lewis; sisters, Betty Glascock, Carolyn Anderson, Rita Moore, Shirley Russell, Sheila Mode, grandson Laeth Mullins.
Survivors include son, Jimmy Lewis of Fayetteville, AR; daughters, Judy Wenzslick of Wentzville, MO, Phyllis Mullins of Memphis, TN; brothers Winfred Cothren of Batesville, AR, James Cothren of North Carolina, Larry Cothren of Truman, AR; daughter-in-law Rose Lewis, wife of Ronnie of Paragould. 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the church of the giver’s choice.
