Wanda Tyner

September 11, 1928 — February 8, 2018

Wanda Mae Tyner, 89, passed from this life on 8 February 2018 at The Greenhouse Cottages of Belle Meade in Paragould. Born on 11 September 1928, she was the daughter of the late John Vernon and Agnes Buerge.

She was also preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald J. Tyner; sister, Verna
Karkau; grandson, Joshua Tyner; and great-granddaughter, Aryanna Newsom.

Mrs. Tyner is survived by her five children David L Tyner (Mary), of Paragould, Stephen E Tyner (Julie) of Newaygo, Michigan, Jeffery R Tyner (Becky) of Paragould, Andrea Hicks (Allan) of Jonesboro, and Lisa O Trotter (Terry) of Cherokee Village; nine grandchildren, Sasha Goodson (Scott), Kelsey Terpstra, Jason Tyner (Whitney), Todd Tyner (Daris), Michael Tyner (Victoria), Melissa Albertson (Josh), CaSandra Tyner, Drake Newsom (Andrea), and Morgan Mitchell (Caleb); twenty-seven great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, and many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of Wanda’s life will be held at Cornerstone United Method Church, 1910 Disciple
Dr., Jonesboro, Arkansas on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Kathleen McMurray officiating. A visitation will follow the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Resident Activity Fund of The
Greenhouse Cottages of Belle Meade in honor of their mother.
