Wanda Lee Taylor, 82, of Paragould, went to Heaven on Sunday. She was a member of West View Baptist Church. Wanda was retired as a food service director and had worked in the shirt factory and shoe factory earlier in her life. She had a deep love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wanda married the love of her life, William Carroll "Dub" Taylor, Jr., on September 20, 1952. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Lorene Davis. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Donald Davis.
Survivors included her husband of 65 years, Dub Taylor; children, Keith (Debbie) Taylor of Jonesboro, Janet Willis of Paragould, Scotty Taylor of Jonesboro, Marty Taylor of Monette, Tena (Mike) Ewton of Cohutta, Georgia, and Lana Labruyere of Bonne Terre, Missouri; grandchildren, Brad Taylor, Samantha Billingsley, Heith Willis, Holly Gunn, Jill and Katie Taylor, Brittany Mooney, Shawna Taylor, Chelsea and Morgan Ewton, and Clayton and Claire Labruyere; great grandchildren, Matthew and Josh Gunn, Karter, Kooper, and Kyler Willis, Mason Mooney, Laney, Chloe, and Taylor Humphry, and Jack Billingsley; nephew, Chuck Davis; and nieces, Vicky Ryan and Mellenee Bennett.
Visitation is Tuesday evening from 5-7 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral service is Wednesday at 10am at Heath Colonial Chapel with Dr. Marc Reeves officiating. Burial is in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Please send memorials to Children's Homes of Paragould or Arkansas Children's Hospital.
