Wanda Jeanne Dohogne

Wanda Jeanne Dohogne passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 96 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jeanne was born and raised in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. In Cape she met her husband Urban Dohogne. Jeanne and Urban raised their family in Paragould, Arkansas. As a stay at home mom, Jeanne volunteered at the girls' school, church, and senior bingo. She was an immaculate housekeeper, a beautiful seamstress, and a talented artist.

After Urban passed she moved to St. Louis to live in Brookdale Retirement Community. She was happy to be close to her girls and made new friends.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, Urban Dohogne of fifty-five years. She was the mother of Cathy (Bob) Hessler and Elizabeth (Al) Sweet. Proud Grandmother of Jenny (Kevin) Auerr, Allan (Melanie) Hessler, Lauren (Ryan) Sweet Swarts, and Kelly (Jake) Roeckle; loving great-grandmother of Abby and Hannah Auerr. Jeanne was the daughter of the late Edward and Freida Reiker, dear sister of Shirline (Neil) Bower and the late Helen (Bob) Brock; special aunt and cousin.

Visitation and Funeral Mass will be celebrate at 10:30 Thursday, December 3, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Memorial may be made to Alzheimer's Association at www.ALZ.org.
