Virginia Peters

Virginia Mae Peters, 86, of Paragould, died Monday, September 7, 2009 at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. She was born November 11, 1922 to Roy H. and Flossie Mae McCoy Cox in Paragould, Arkansas. She married Religh Roebuck Peters on November 13, 1942. She was retired from Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband and two children; James and Suzan Peters. Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard and Barbara Peters of Marshfield, MO and Robert Peters of Collinsville, IL; five grandchildren, Richard Peters, Deania Jenkins, Sherry Salvaggio, Robert Peters, Michael Peters, DVM; five great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Steinbeck of Highland, IL, Geraldine Stearns, Harrison, MI, Patsy and Dewey Norman, O Fallon, MO; and one brother: James Cox, DeSoto, MO. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside service and burial will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector at 12:30 PM.
