Victor Rowe

Victor Rowe, 95, of Beech Grove, passed from this life on Friday, February 3, 2023. He was born in Greene County on August 28, 1927, to the late Charlie and Mamie Rowe. Vic graduated from Stanford High School in 1945 as the Valedictorian. He was awarded a scholarship to attend college, but he chose to give it to someone who was not able to go to college without it. Vic married Dorothy "Dot" Clark on August 7, 1947. He became a dairy farmer and spent over 50 years farming. He served as a board member for the Associated Milk Producers, Inc. While farming was his profession, it was also his hobby. Vic was a faithful member of Commissary Church of Christ and served as an Elder for decades. He loved to read his Bible, and he was a devoted man of God. Vic was generous to his community and the church. He helped everyone whom he found in need. Vic was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mamie Rowe; wife of 67 years, Dot Rowe; infant grandson, William Joseph Rowe; brothers, Macon, Chester, Joe, and Alfred Rowe; and sister, Carmelita Lenderman.

Vic is survived by his sons, Charles (Sharon) Rowe of Paragould, Roger (Cindy) Rowe of Little Rock, and Bart (Anita) Rowe of Paragould; grandchildren, Brittani (Brian) Oden of Paragould, Amber (Josh) Sandlin of Jonesboro, Ryan (Sandy) Rowe of Beech Grove, Laura (Bailee) Brandt of Elkins, John Rowe of Arlington, Virginia, Matthew (Lauren) Rowe of Paragould, and Madison (Isaiah) Ritter of Paragould; and eleven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11am-1pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 1pm with Art Smith and Evan Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Vic's nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Lee Poore and Hank Walters. To honor Vic, please send memorials to the Commissary Church of Christ Missionary Fund.
