Vertis Roy Scrivner

Vertis Roy Scrivner, 75, of Paragould, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. Vertis was born to the late Sank and Mildred (Cox) Scrivner April 7, 1939 in Paragould. He was a retired employee of Emerson Electric; his true passion was farming and driving tractors. Vertis is survived by his wife, Tena, of the home; two daughters, Gidget Scrivner of Paragould and Joy Morales of Raytown, Missouri; his son, Wayne Scrivner of Kearney, Missouri; and one sister, Freda Jamison of Paragould. Services will be 2:30PM Saturday, September 13 at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Michelle Dubar officiating; burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin Saturday at 1PM and will continue until service time.
