Verlis Guinn

Verlis Guinn, 73, of Paragould, passed away Sunday. He was retired from Monroe and a devout Christian. Verlis enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was the son of the late Charlie and Erdie Guinn. He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Cynthia Starnes, Starling Guinn, Sue Johnson, E.J. Guinn, and Charles Guinn.

Verlis is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wava, of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Lana Guinn, Tim and Michelle Guinn, and Verlis W. and Regena Guinn, all of Paragould; daughter, Crystal Guinn of Cardwell; grandchildren, Blake, Clara, Ellen, Jack, Emily, Josh, Curtis, and Nicholas; and sister, Georgia (Greg) Scherer of Benton, Missouri.


A private funeral service will be held Wednesday under the direction of Heath Funeral Home.
