Veola Richey

Veola Richey, 97, of Paragould, passed away Sunday at the Greenhouse Cottages of Belle Meade Nursing Center in Paragould . She was born in Beech Grove, was a member of New Haven Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Veola was the daughter of the late Bud and Elizabeth Grooms. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Chester Wilson and her second husband, Bill Richey, sons, Fred Lancaster and an infant son; daughter, Melida Daugherty, son-in-law, Lee Veteto and grandsons Joshua Veteto, and Kason Dollars; granddaughter, Tammy White; five brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Veteto, Glenna (Ron) Jarvis, Joyce (Kenneth) Branch, Karla (Ben) Wooldridge, and Marsha (Clifton) Morris; seventeen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 AM in the chapel of Heath Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Pickney officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Scott McDuffee, Kevin Dollars, Brian Branch, Brad Branch, Michael Veteto and Clint Morris. Honorary pallbearers are Randy Ray and Alex Brewington.
