Valicia Frances Cloyes

Valicia Frances Garner Cloyes, 92, of Paragould, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019 in Searcy, Arkansas. She was born on September 2, 1926 to the late James Earl and Gladys Rogers Garner. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Paragould. Valicia was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, fishing, and painting. Preceding her in death by twelve days, her husband of 72 years, Hubert "Bud" Cloyes, Jr; also preceding her in death, brother, James Garner; and sister, Geraldine Hicklin.

Survivors include, daughter, Carolyn (Charlie) Brandon of Heber Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren, Bryan (Jaemye) Brandon of Utah and Tracy Brandon of New Mexico; great-grandchildren, Kelsye Thompson and Gavin Brandon; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:30-2:30 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow beginning at 2:30 pm with Rev. Jason Noel officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of the giver's choice.
