Vada Ruth Sweaney

Vada Ruth Sweaney, 84, of Jonesboro passed away December 23, 2018 at St. Bernard's Medical Center. She was born to the late Herchel and Marie Pinkston Ingram. Vada enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with all of her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Scylvester Sweaney, her parents, 3 sisters and one brother.

Vada is survived by daughters Ruth Ann Busby of Seymoro, Indiana, Kathy Wilson of St. Louis, Missouri, Peggy Kiplinger of Jonesboro and Patsy Joann Sweaney of Jonesboro; one son Scylvester Sweaney of Jonesboro, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at Bond Cemetery in Knobel with Cassie Kiplinger officiating.
