Trae McDonald Roach, son of Linus and Deloris Roach of Paragould, went to be with his lord on Saturday, April 12, 2008. Trae was 17 years old. His sister and brother, Teresa and Wynn Roach, Paragould, miss him greatly. Trae is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents. His dappled dachshund, Miss Hattie, mourns him as well. Trae was a student at Greene County Tech. A fan of baseball, Trae played the game from his early years until age 14, and to his death was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Trae always appreciated the outdoors and would spend hours walking through the woods and exploring the terrain. Trae loved learning about and watching all animals and had a special fondness for dogs. He exhibited compassion for individuals who were being bullied and ostracized. Trae was a loyal friend. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church, Paragould. He enjoyed an eclectic mix of musical genres, playing video games with friends, watching movies, macaroni and cheese, energy drinks, Mt. Dew, Brown Sugar Pop Tarts and Miss Nancy Hoke's homemade rolls. The loss of Trae is felt deeply by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at Heath Colonial Chapel at 10:00 am with Reverend Packey Magel officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, from 6:30-9:00 pm at Heath Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to P.A.W.S.
