Tonna Jean Miller

Tonna Jean Miller, nee Caldwell, age 68, died peacefully in her home in Paragould on August 14, 2009. Tonna was born on October 27,1940 in Supply, Ar to the late John and Mildred Caldwell. Tonna was a nurse in the St Louis area until her retirement in 1998. She lived in Tarpon Springs, Fl and Corning, Ar before moving to Paragould. Tonna was truly one of a kind, as all that knew her will attest. Anyone who met her was immediately struck by her beauty, honesty and love of laughter. She was brimming with life and especially loved children, who in turn adored her. Tonna is survived by her son Dennis(Kathy) Williams and her new grandson Wyatt, all of St Louis., one brother Jim(Barbara) Caldwell of Corning,Ar, three sisters Sharon Lopez of Phoenix, Az., Barbara Peters of Nobleton, Fl. and Kathy King of Mesquite, Tx. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends to numerous to mention, but whom she greatly loved. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Crowell, and her beloved Grandmother, the incomparable Uhl McDowell. A visitation followed by a short benediction will be held Saturday, August 22, 1-4 pm at Heath Funeral Home, 321 W. Garland St, Paragould Ar. All those that knew and loved Tonna are encouraged to attend.
