Tommy Harlin Carroll, 75, of Marmaduke, passed away Sunday at his residence. He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy. Tommy had spent time working at Coca-Cola, J&S Woodcraft, L.A. Darling, and Foremost Dairy. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and loved Cardinal baseball. He was the son of the late Cletus and Itha Shewmaker Carroll. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Nelson and Gaylan Carroll, and step-mother, Rachel Carroll.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy of the home; sons, Russell Harlin Carroll and Darrell Douglas Carroll of Marmaduke; sisters, Vanatta Bowery of Ohio, Carolyn Gibson of Marmaduke, and Marilyn Price of Lafe; brother, Malcolm Carroll of Marmaduke; 4 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral is Wednesday at 10 am at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial is at Hartsoe Cemetery.
