Tommy Franklin Blankenship, 69, of Paragould, died Saturday, in Memphis. He was the son of the late Loicy and Ethel Blankenship. He was also preceded by a brother, Liddell Blankenship, and sisters, Bonita Huffman and Shirley Pruitt. Tom was a retired farmer and owner of Tom Blankenship Equipment. Tom is survived by his wife, Carol, of the home; son, Thomas Anthony Blankenship, Jonesboro; daughters, Lisa (Steven) Mims, Comanche, TX, Christina Blankenship, Paragould, and Courtney (Chad) Cochran, Paragould; brothers, Junior Blankenship, Piggott, Don Blankenship, Corning, Frankie Blankenship, Paragould; sister, Betty Prince, Paragould; grandchildren, Morgan Fox and Ashlyn Blankenship, both of Jonesboro, Jeff Laffoon, The Colony, TX, Lauren Laffoon, Lake Dallas, TX, Kyle Laffoon, Denton, TX, Cade Swinney, Chloe Cochran, Camille Cochran, and Caraline Cochran, all of Paragould; and five great grandchildren.
