Timothy Allen Whiteside, 68, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed from this life on November 3, 2024, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born May 5, 1956, to Terrell & Reba Greathouse Whiteside.
Tim retired from ARI after 13 years and was a former employee of Sunlite Casual Furniture for 23 years until its closure.
Tim was a great son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend - and he was loved by all. He enjoyed spending time with his family during family get-togethers and holidays. He also enjoyed traveling, going to the beach, camping, car shows, NASCAR races, Razorback football, St. Louis Cardinals, and last but not least, decorating the yard for Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas so his grandchildren and others could enjoy. He also attended his kids' and grands' events or sporting events whenever he could, and there were many.
He was preceded in death by his father, Terrell Whiteside, grandparents, Earl & Hazel Greathouse, and brother-in-law, Jim Luke.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Reba Whiteside; his loving wife of 44 years, Linda Elliott Whiteside; son, Terry Kyle Whiteside (Jessica); daughter, Brittany McKay (Josh); sisters, Dianne Klingensmith (Dale) and Barbara Luke; grandchildren, Mattie Lynn White, Hank McKay, Levi McKay, Laiken Whiteside, River Whiteside, Lyric Stevens, and Gavin Forrest; two bonus grands, AJ Hicks and Jay Hicks; nieces, Amber Andrews (Danny) and Dee Dee Rodriguez (Dairon); great-niece, Abbie Andrews; sister/brothers-in-law, Carolyn Brandon, Judy Elliott, Joan & Bill Bowden, Donna & Kevin Hunter; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Friday, November 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m., at Heath Funeral Home, Paragould, Arkansas, with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow services at Shiloh Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Terry Whiteside, Josh McKay, Mark Graftenreed, Neal Burns, Jeff Easley, and Jonathan Arant.
