Thomas Medlin, 85, of Marmaduke, passed away Wednesday at his residence. He was a heavy equipment operator and had worked on the railroad for New York Central. Tom was a member of the Michigan Operator's Engineer. He loved to camp and go off-road racing. Tom served in the Navy during the Korean War, serving on the USS Enterprise as a member of the Night Flying Squadron and was an aviation mechanics mate. Tom was the son to the late William Lemial and Gloravenna Thornburgh Medlin.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Isabelle Medlin, Marmaduke; son, Tommy Medlin, Toledo, OH; daughter, Deb Medlin Roberts, Marmaduke; grandsons, Justin Roberts, Paragould, and Coty Medlin, Cassville, MO; granddaughter, Mandy (Justin) Mason, Wheaton, MO; and great grandchildren, Allissa and Jase Mason.
