Thomas Lemuel Taylor, 87, of Paragould died Friday at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born October 25, 1922. He was a World War II, Army veteran and retired from L. A. Darling Store Fixtures. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Reeves Taylor; parents, W. B. and Grace Vivian Taylor; daughter, Carolyn Taylor; sons, Tommy and Lanny Taylor; son-in-law, Gary Wright; grandson, Ricky Taylor; great granddaughter, Stephanie Wright. Survivors include daughter, Frances Wright of Paragould and son Terry (Tracie) Taylor of Paragould; daughter-in-law, Barbara Taylor of Texas; brothers, Darrel (Katherine) Taylor of Paragould; Jim (Lois) Taylor of Jonesboro ; sisters, Dean Rickman and Ann Barrow of Paragould; grandchildren, Steve Wright (Kim) of Paragould, Stacy Rettig (Ken) of Michigan, Debbie Trappe (Gary) of Texas, Denise Taylor of Texas, Joseph Taylor (Leia) of Paragould, Tera Clayton (Lloyd) of Paragould; great grandchildren, Kassie and Kristin Wright of Paragould, Seth and Kenna Rettig of Michigan, Musi and Colton Trappe of Texas, Jasper Clayton of Paragould. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Eddie Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Heath Funeral Home.
