Terry Allen Dowdy

Terry Allen Dowdy, 51, of Paragould went to be with his Lord on October 10, 2014. He passed away in St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born July 20, 1963 in Paragould to Vernie and the late James Durell Dowdy. Terry was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Paragould, served in the Army National Guard and owned Professional Cleaning Service. He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Bobby Gale Dowdy. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Dowdy; mother, Vernie Dowdy of the home; sons, Joseph (Jera) Dowdy, Paragould, Sgt. Johathan (Amber) Dowdy, McAlester, Ok, James (Amanda) Dowdy of Paragould; brother, Darrell (Kathy) Dowdy, Paragould; sister, Joann (Larry) Davis, Lafe; a very special friend, Michael (Peggy) Schuckman, Paragould and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Heath Funeral Home. His life will be celebrated at Heath Colonial Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Strope officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be J. W. Rawls, Eddie Gale Rawls, Jeff Rawls, Michael Schuckman, Corey Breckenridge and Everett Foster. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Dowdy, Chief Petty Officer Jason Dowdy, Scottie Rogers, Bill Rawls, Gary Rawls, Phillip Davis, Ronnie Rawls, Sr., Mike Howard and John Hunt.
