Albert "Tab" Forkum, 82, of Paragould, passed away Monday at his residence. He was retired from his heat and A/C business which he operated for over 35 years. Tab was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran having served in the Army. He enjoyed many things; however, gardening was his main interest. Tab loved to travel, hunt, fish, and do woodwork. He was the son to the late Henry and Eve Walker Forkum. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Sherry Ann Forkum; brothers, Bobby, Jack, and Richard Forkum; and sisters, Hazel Forkum and Rhonda Mullins.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty Forkum; daughter, Debbie Farrell (Lanz Loyd), Paragould; grandson, Chris (Lisa) Pillow, Trumann; great grandsons, Blayne Pillow, Jonesboro, and Cole and Will Pillow, both of Trumann; great great grandson, Oli Pillow, Jonesboro; brothers, Billy Joe Forkum and Norman Forkum, both of Paragould; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Tuesday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service is Wednesday at 10 am at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. John Everett and Raymond Atwood officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brent McCain, David Allen, Robbie Forkum, Billy Forkum, Joe Forkum, and Tommy Greer.
