Sylvia Leonia Morrow passed away at age 94, on April 14, 2014, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould, Arkansas. She was born in Greene County, Arkansas on September 12, 1919 to the late Alvin Mack Eubanks and Martha Howard Eubanks. She was married to the late James Franklin Morrow on October 3, 1937 and they celebrated 64 years of marriage before his death in October 2001. Her survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Janie and Dennis Smelser of Dexter, Missouri; one daughter-in-law: Linda Morrow of Paragould; three grandsons: Stanley Keith Morrow and wife, Michelle, of Paragould, James Brian Smelser of St. Louis, Missouri, and Shaun Christopher Smelser and wife, Emily, of Jackson, Missouri. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Briar Morrow of Paragould, Arkansas and Lillianne Smelser of Jackson, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Morrow, one son, Wendell Don Morrow and seven brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Morrow was an avid gardener, homemaker, and farmer's wife and a member of the Commissary Church of Christ. Visitation will be at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould from 10:30-11:30 AM, Wednesday. The funeral service will follow visitation at 11:30 AM in Heath Colonial Chapel with Art Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Morrow Cemetery.
