Sugar Sage

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sugar Sage, who left us on February 19, 2025, at the remarkable age of almost 15 years. Sugar was not just a dog; she was a radiant beacon of joy and affection, a companion whose sweetness knew no bounds.

From the moment Sugar joined our family, it was clear that she possessed a spirit that could light up any room. Her warm presence and her unabashed love for everyone around her made her the sweetest dog ever. Whether it was in our backyard, where she would leap into our arms, tackling us with an avalanche of kisses until we could hardly breathe, or on lazy afternoons spent side by side, Sugar's joy was infectious and her kindness unparalleled.

She found happiness in the simplest of pleasures—long car rides that made her tail wag with glee, swimming on warm summer days, and, of course, indulging her passionate love for food. Sugar had a particular talent for sniffing out treats, and it was simply impossible to resist her charm as she would eagerly gobble every morsel she could get her paws on. Her zest for life was often reflected in the playful moments shared with her best doggie friend, Lucy, a cherished companion who, like us, will feel the void left behind by her absence.

Sugar's favorite place was undoubtedly by her favorite human, Abigail, whose love for her was matched only by Sugar's unwavering devotion. Through all the tender moments, the laughter, and the playful antics, Sugar filled our lives with happiness and warmth, making her the best dog we ever had.

As we gather our memories of her, we are reminded of the unfathomable depth of her love and the way she always sought to make everyone around her happy. Sugar Sage may have left this world, but her spirit and the love she shared will forever remain etched in our hearts.
