Steve Knight

Steve Knight, 59, of Paragould, died Wednesday at his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnnie Knight. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Donna (Corbett) Knight; sons, Blake Aaron Knight and Braden Jaymes K. Knight, both of Paragould; mother and step-dad, Billie and Warren Gray of Jonesboro; and his beloved dog who followed his every footstep, "Buddy Barker". Survivors also include his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diann and Eugene Hyde, and nephew, Dustin Thurmond.

Steve owned and operated Knight Auto Sales for 35 years. He was a well respected business man in Paragould. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and his beloved brothers and sisters in his motorcycle circle and beyond. Steve worked side-by-side with his wife helping her in her business. Anything she needed, he was there. He loved motorcycle trips and all the beautiful scenery, including the pig-trail. He adored his sons, helping them in all their needs, anxious for them to want him to help them. He adored his new dog, "Buddy", "that fell from heaven to make him happy" - those were his exact words. He rescued Buddy from the hot field this summer.

The family will receive friends Friday from 10-12 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service begins at 12 with Kevin Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joe Poteet, Danny Camp, Danny Felty, Ronnie Hopper, Jake Page, and Mac Crawford. Honorary Pallbearers are Howard Cook, Harold Yargan, Cecil Ford, Rick and Leslie Cox, Jamie Davenport, Cowgirl, Jim Hudson, Gary Johnson, Mugsy, Brett Hoyer, Ringo, Tick Adams, Ronnie Brown, Mike Harvey, Jimmy Doyle Miller, Preacher Ronnie Montgomery, Fuzz, Randy Gray, Skeeter, and all of his friends who ride a motorcycle.
