Shirley Ann "Lolly" Williams, 84, of Paragould, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was born in Greene County on August 16, 1939, to the late Oscar and Mildred Fletcher. Lolly spent years working at the Ed White Shoe Factory and Arkla before moving to retail where she worked in sales at Don Perkey's Shoes. In her later years, she worked in construction burying underground telephone cable. Lolly loved art. She was known to create art out of odd things. She was gifted in drawing and painting. While she was passionate about art, it could not compare to the way she felt about her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lolly adored her family, and she loved every second she got to spend with them. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Jimmie Russell Horton, Sr.; second husband, Billy E. Williams; son, William Lee Horton; and sisters, Toady Woodson and Jackie Schwedock.
Lolly is survived by her son, Rusty (Lisa) Horton of Paragould; grandchildren, Brandon (Courtney) Horton of Wynne, Destiny (Derek) Craft of Ravenden Springs, and Tanner (Rayce) Horton of Atlanta, Georgia; great grandchildren, Lucy Horton, Brinnley Craft, Madalynn Craft, Ava Horton, and Raylan Horton; brother, O.W. Fletcher; and sisters, Linda McSpadden, Dora Proctor, Faye Fletcher, and Barbie Taylor.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 10-11 AM at Heath Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 11 AM.
