It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sheyanne Brooks Barr, born on October 25, 2000, in Paragould. Sheyanne departed this world on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the age of 24. She is survived by her devoted mother, Georgia Rogers; loving sisters, Cassie (Blake) Hoots-Sullinger of Paragould and Katie Hoots of Walnut Ridge; brother, Hayden Holden of Branson; birth mother, Sandra Holden of Branson; grandma, Pansy Momany; and aunt, Lindsey (Scott) Snyder. She is preceded in death by her father, Danny Rogers.
Sheyanne was a gifted student at the University of Memphis, where she was set to graduate in May with not just one, but three Bachelor's Degrees. Her academic pursuits were a testament to her insatiable curiosity and commitment to learning, which she carried with her from her formative years at Greene County Tech High School, from which she graduated in 2019.
A lover of literature, Sheyanne found joy in the pages of countless books, regardless of genre. Her passion for reading was matched only by her wonder for the night sky; she often spent serene evenings gazing at the stars, reflecting on her dreams and aspirations. From a young age, she maintained an unyielding dedication to journaling, filling numerous notebooks with her thoughts, experiences, and insights-a legacy of her inner world and creative spirit.
In these times of sorrow, let us remember Sheyanne not only for the challenges she faced, but for the joy, intelligence, and love she shared during her time with us. May her memory be a blessing and an inspiration for all who knew her.
