Sheila Clayton Mealer, 62, of Paragould, died on Wednesday in Jonesboro. She was a retired school teacher. She was the daughter of the late Elbert and Myrtle Turner Clayton. She was also preceded in death by her daughters, Crystal and Robyn Mealer; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Larry Mealer, Paragould; daughter, Faith Mealer Bass (Chris), Paragould; sister, Margaret Archer, Redding, CA; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Charlie and Jamie Cooper, Paragould.
Visitation is Friday evening from 6-8 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral service is Saturday at 1pm at Heath Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Hayes and Rev. Chris Bass officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
