Sharran Mccullar

Sharran LaRae McCullar was born on August 24, 1944, in Paragould, AR to B.C. Lloyd and Dorothy (Austin) Lloyd. She passed away peacefully at Rector Nursing and Rehab on Sunday, September 6, 2015, at the age of 71. Sharran was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was retired from the Greene County Extension Service where she was the 4H Program Assistant for 16 years. She was active in her community and was the Greene County Fair Secretary for over 50 years. She loved to cook and host parties, do craft work, and work in her flower gardens. She was a lifelong member and pianist at Paragould First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, B.C. Lloyd, and her son, Brent McCullar. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gene McCullar; son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Amber McCullar; daughter-in-law, Laura McCullar; and son, Chad McCullar; grandchildren, Gena McCullar, Lauren McCullar, Tyner McCullar, Graden McCullar, and Addisen McCullar. She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Lloyd and two brothers, Barry Lloyd and Stan Lloyd. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin Wednesday at 10:30 am at Greene County Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. J.E. Mitchell officiating. Memorials may be sent to the First Church of the Nazarene or the Children's Home of Paragould.
