Scottie Joe Risinger

Scottie Jomel Risinger, 52, went to rest with his mother and father on March 12, 2010. He was born June 12, 1957 to the late Melvin and Edwina Risinger. He was retired after 33 years of being a faithful employee of General Motors. He is survived by his older brother, Rookie, of Fenton, Michigan; younger sister, Stacey of Oakland, Kentucky; son, Christopher; daughter-in-law, Jenna; and two grandchildren, Payton and Eva, all from Florida. “Grandpa Scott” will be remembered for his big heart and generosity and will be greatly missed by all whose heart he had touched. The family will receive friends at Heath Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 PM Monday. His life will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday at Heath Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at Cardwell Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Risinger, Rookie Risinger, Dennis RIsinger, Payton Risinger, Gabriel Mercer, Bud Malone and Michael Stewart. Memorials may be made to Scott’s grandchildren, payable to Scott Risinger. Funds will be transferred appropriately.
