Scarlett Olivia Jarman, 19, of Paragould, passed from this life on Monday, November 28, 2022. She was born on January 2, 2003, to Dr. Michael W. and Lisa Jarman. Scarlett graduated from Greene County Tech High School in 2021 where she played basketball and golf. Her love of sports continued after high school. Scarlett was a freshman at Arkansas State University. She was an artist, and she loved to draw and paint. Scarlett also enjoyed listening to music, whether it was rock, country, or pop. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lloyd B. and Clevagene Smith, and cousin, Zachary Gage Dodd.
Scarlett is survived by her parents, Dr. Michael W. and Lisa Jarman of Paragould; grandparents, Kenneth and Carolyn Jarman of Mt. Home; aunts and uncles, Kala and Steve Hatch of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gail and Jeff Allison of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and Marcia Woodhouse of Knobel; cousins, Haley Priborsky, Lauren Fraine, Christie Watson, Blake Dodd, Giselle Ellis, Emily Watson, Jude Dodd, and Jhett Dodd; her beloved pets, Polly and Baxter; and many, many friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-7 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Paragould. Under the direction of Heath Funeral Home, the funeral is Monday at 1 PM at First United Methodist Church with Revs. Dane Womack and Chase Burns officiating. Burial will follow in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Bud Wallace, Jerry Wilson, Dan Stidham, Nate Burnett, Cache Burnett, and Fletcher Latting. Memorials may be sent to the First United Methodist Church.
