Sarah Louise Macdonald

Sarah Louise MacDonald, 79, resident of Paragould, formerly of Erie, PA, having lived in the Millcreek Township died Saturday at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was born November 19, 1931 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Henry A. and Margaret MacLaughlin Young. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers. She was a graduate of Millcreek High School in Erie, PA. She was president of her childrens PTA in elementary, Junior High and High School. She is survived by her husband: Richard MacDonald Sr, of the home; sons and daughters in law: Richard Allen MacDonald Jr (Bobbi) of Hastings, FL, Mark Douglas MacDonald of Warm Springs, AR, Paul Neil MacDonald (Diane) of Cleveland, OH, Dean Lawrence MacDonald (Carrie) of Paragould, AR. Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church in Erie and attended church locally at the First Presbyterian Church in Paragould. She will be missed by both communities and loved dearly by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM at Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverends Don Thomas and Deborah Spangler officiating.
