Ruth Naomi Tindell

Ruth Naomi Vaughn Tindell, 91, of Paragould, passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 at Walnut Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Walnut Ridge. She was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on September 22, 1930 to the late Henry (Sr.) and Naomi Casner Vaughn. She was an extraordinary homemaker, creative crafter and seamstress. She enjoyed playing with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, David, of more than 66 years; three of her five brothers, Henry (Jr.), William and Ralph Vaughn of Louisiana.

Survivors include younger brothers, Malcolm and Clifton (Irene) Vaughn, of Louisiana; four daughters, Linda Gayle Lee, of Paragould, Arkansas, Brenda Sue (David) Richardson, of Orlando, Florida, Debra Lynn (Mike) McMullin, and Cheri Leigh (David) Hutchison, of Paragould, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Ashley Lee Dumas, Lindsey Lee George, Johnny Sutterfield, Jessie Sutterfield McCracken, Mike K. McMullin, Jeremy Hutchison, Wesley Hutchison, and Dakota Richardson; and eleven great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas from 10:00-10:45 am. Funeral procession will leave the funeral home following visitation. Graveside service will begin at 12:00 pm at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be son-in-laws and grandsons.
