Ruth Lillian Street, 91, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021. Ruth was born on March 18, 1930 in Greene County, Arkansas to the late Clifford Allen and Pearl Payne Tennison. Ruth was a fun loving Christian lady who attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church regularly until she was unable to. She wanted all her family to know her Lord and Savior. She had many many friends young and old as she never considered herself OLD! She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles and was a great cook. Many especially requested her pies and cakes. Ruth was special to all of her family! She is preceded in death by her husband, Elvis Street; brothers, Guy, Leon, and Alvin; and sisters, Ileen, Mathel, and Thelma.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Williams (Elwyn), and Pamela Jones (Larry) both of Paragould; son, Lanny Street (Donna) of Paragould; sisters, Geraldine Wall, and Edith Mosbey; six grandchildren, Lisa, Shayla, Kelly, Cameron, Jeremy, and Jana; five great-grandchildren, Blake, Kaylie, Landon, Jude, and Gage; and one great-great-grandchild, Lilah.
Visitation will be held Monday from 1-2 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Heath Colonial Chapel with Harold Diggs and Rhyne Putman officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
