Ruth Cook

Ruth Cook, 76, Memphis, TN, died Sunday, June 2, 2013, at her home. She was born in Light, Arkansas the daughter of the late Walter and Nancy Lenderman Lands. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Velma Gill and Carolyn Lands. She was a hairdresser and a member of the church of Christ. She is survived by her husband; Granville Cook of the home; siblings: Mary Boozer, Regina Erwin, June and Lonnie Kemp, Marshall and Lila Lands, all Jonesboro, Betty Foster, Edward and Shine Lands, all of Light, Mike and Denita Lands of North Little Rock and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, at Heath Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery, 10:00 AM, Friday with Paul McFadden, officiating.
