Rudolph "Rudy" Harvey Woodsmall

Rudolph "Rudy" Harvey Woodsmall, 88, of Paragould, passed away Thursday at Belle Meade Nursing Center. He was a retired supervisor for Foster-Forbes Glass Co. and a member of Griffin Memorial United Methodist Church. Rudy lived in Paragould for over 20 years after moving here from Wappapello, Missouri. He enjoyed showing his 1930 Model A Coupe. He was the son of the late Elvin and Lillian Pitts Woodsmall. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Sidney Woodsmall, and sister, Dorothy (Woodsmall) Foss.

Rudy is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Fern; children, Regina (Bob) Kerls of Des Peres, Missouri, and Gary "Woody" (Nora) Woodsmall of Paragould; grandchildren, Chad (Ashley) Kerls of Winfield, Missouri, Matt (Laura) Kerls of Avondale, Arizona, Kelly (Patrick) Lenderman of Paragould, Amy (Jon) Bach of Festus, Missouri, Angela (BJ) Kirby of Jonesboro, and Tiffany Woodsmall and fiance, Jason McClelland of Paragould; great grandchildren, Zeke Bach, Ryleigh Lenderman, Michael Kerls, Walker Bach, Brenden Kerls, Amelia Kirby, Benjamin Kerls, Reagan Kerls, and Della Bach; sister, Norma (Gene) Gathright of Monette; brother-in-law, Warren Foss of Mt. Home; and many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11-1 at Heath Funeral Home. The funeral begins at 1 pm with Pastor Aaron Neugebauer and Rev. Kenny Lee officiating. Burial will be in Greene County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Chad Kerls, Matt Kerls, BJ Kirby, Patrick Lenderman, Jon Bach and Jason McClelland. Memorials may be sent to Griffin Memorial United Methodist Church, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Make A Wish Foundation.
