Ruby Nell Garner Fitzgerald

Ruby Nell Garner Fitzgerald, 86, of Paragould, died Saturday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was a retired School Teacher and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Carlton Fitzgerald; parents William Phelin and Alma Garner; brothers, Sanford and Carson Garner; sisters, Mildred Harvill, Freddie Shipley, Lurline Hyde and Wanna Foster. Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Randal and Armolee Garner of Paragould; a special niece, Rita Smith of Paragould and a host of friends. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00-12:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 12:30 P.M. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Johnson officiating. Pallbearers will be George Shipley, Dean Garner, Barry Foster, Rickie Liles, Karl Hamblen and Gary Smith. Honorary Pallbearer is Alex Newboles. Family has requested that memorials be made to the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House, 1148 E. Matthews Ave. Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
