Ruby Idabell Rice

Ruby Idabell Rice, 82 of Stanford went home to be with the Lord on Friday at her home. Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Stanford Baptist Church. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, James Everett Rice; daughter, Carolyn Smith; parents, Willie Henry and Martellia Casey Reeves; brothers, Lonnie and Eldry Reeves; sisters, Ruth Pillow and Geneva Penny. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Ray Stricker of Stanford; sons and daughters-in-law, Carol and Barbara Rice and Danny and Carey Rice both of Stanford. 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5:30 - 9:00 at Heath Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at Heath Colonial Chapel with Revs. Marion Gramling and Heath Vines officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Allen and Randy Russom, Glen Newberry, Eddie Blankenship, Kelly Gramling and Paul Thul. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Memorials may be sent to the Stanford Baptist Church, The Susan G. Komen Race for The Cure or Children’s Home of Paragould.
