Ruby Evelyn Boyd

Ruby Boyd, 87, of Paragould, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. She was retired from Arkansas Methodist Medical Center and a charter member of West View Baptist Church. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Mary Evans; daughter, Freda Boyd; grandson, Jason Boyd; brother, Glen Evans; and sisters, Marie Bateman and Reva Beeler. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Leo Boyd of Paragould; sons, Jim Boyd (Diane) of Cullman, Alabama, Harold Boyd (Sandi); and Kendall Boyd of Paragould; daughters, Joy Cunningham (Jim) of Newark, Arkansas and Diane Acuff (Jay) of Paragould; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Paul Evans; and sisters, Rena Snow and Frances Rogers. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at the Heath Colonial Chapel with Reverend Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow at New Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Thursday at Heath Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Tim Cunningham, Mark Cunningham, Tony Boyd, Todd Boyd, Joel Boyd, Brandon McNeil. Honorary Pallbearers, Charlie Bedsole, Mark Walton, Paul Ford, Jody Acuff, Benny Moss and Brent Boyd. Lasting memorials may be made to West View Baptist Church.
